OUR OFFICE IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
At the LCofGI, the safety and well-being of our students, staff, volunteers, and members of the Grand Island community are our utmost priority. Per our closure policy and the recommendations of the CDC, the Literacy Council of Grand Island office will be closed indefinitely as of Monday, March 16, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. No on-site programming will take place at this time. News of reopening will be shared on our website, social media accounts, and email (for volunteers).
In the meantime, please review these guidelines from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services on public safety to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. We strongly encourage that you implement these recommendations into your lifestyle as soon as possible to ensure safety and well-being for all.
For additional information or inquiries, please review our COVID-19 resource page and reach out to our organization through email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We thank you for your patience during this time and, as always, for your commitment to the LCofGI.
Our mission is to teach our students, free of charge, the literacy skills necessary to communicate, grow, and thrive within our community.
We provide our students with free access to our four educational programs:
Language and Learning Lab
Community Connection Center
